Starcraft 2 is unique in the sense that there is no one specific strategy that has a big enough of a percentage to be honestly recommended against a player that is no longer a newbie, thus it reders it useless to follow any one strategy but here are some guidelines so that you’ll have an increased chance of survival, so just follow this protoss build order starcraft 2.

So once you start the game send the 6 probes that you have to go mine minerals. Continue building the probes until you have a total of 9 of them. Continue making Probes and by the time the 12th spawns make it build a gateway. The Gateway should be finished at about the time you have your 16th probe spawned already. So at this point the wisest thing to do is build a Zealot and another Pylon. After that’s done feel free to make a Cybernetics Core so that you have some Stalkers as well. After that continue to build probes and in the midst of all that build another gateway or an extractor whenever you can.

Now this is pretty much as far as I can take you without compromising your game as from this point on you really have to deduct what kind of an opponent your facing and focus on a specific strategy that’s to take care of that specific foe your facing. You’ll have to bend the usage of your resources to employ the proper strategy so be prepared to be completely versatile from this point on as no “one strategy” guarantees victory.
What you should remember though, is to keep everything well balanced and rounded so that you’re able to defend and attack appropriately. While building units, regardless of who you’re facing your army should consist of a mix of at least 4 different units, in order to actually make it effective as no one unit can do anything against an army of mixed ones. Also keep scouting and trying to figure out what your opponents up to, most of the games are lost only due to the fact that the enemy is underestimated or not scouted at all.
