Starcraft 2 strategy guide
Strategy is to a match like a very well grown (dead) moose to a starved pack of wolves, very needed.
So not to confuse anyone here on out I will give the „hax” tips to mentally own any foe who’s even remotely close to absolutely anything (what?).
When playing Starcraft 2 you should rely on nothing and and do everything yourself, picture yourself as being on the verge of something very terrible/good/alert grabbing and try to spike up your adrenal glands a little as you’ll need the reaction speed increase as much you can get it. Rid your thoughts of any second hand worries or ideas and focus on the now.
And the most important thing is have defense, if it’s a map where you can’t choke yourself properly come up with a substitute strategy.
Feel the movement of your hands as one is controlling the mouse while the other precisely pressing the right buttons, keep reading as I’ll reveal how to bypass any limiting factors while playing in this Starcraft 2 strategy guide.
Open up as many channels in your head mentally as possible, 2 being the bare minimum obviously. What I mean by that is remember to do at least 2 things at the same time (e.g. controlling your scouting drone to tell it where to scout and simultaneously keep perfect track of what buildings are nearing completion, when the next workers are available to be spawned, your vespine gas and minerals. More info at SC2 Guide.
All these things have to be monitored and on top of that you have to be fully prepared that an attack will take place any second now, I know it sounds too general but trust me actually being prepared for an attack before having one increases your management skills dramatically.
Always take note of the races your playing against and immediately switch to the thought set against them specifically (e.g. if you are playing a 1 on 1 match as Protoss against a Zerg, let go of all generalization and focus on that they are Zerg, that will remove confusion). Feel the game, no I actually mean it, feel the game as it moves, as the natural tendency dictates more or less what will happen. The variations do exist but only to a considerable degree.
Embed the info in this Starcraft 2 Strategy Guide so that you actually stick to it.
Try to make the strategic decision move in a smooth controlled rate, as if you’re overdoing on the thinking part you’ll actual performance will suffer as you won’t be able to decide the exact right action to take, you have to find the balance between thinking and doing, in simple terms.
Other Starcraft 2 strategy guide authors focus on the actually strategy, which in my opinion is completely unnecessary as everything is dynamic enough to not work as a single strategy. It has to be very, very precise in it’s conditions to even show positive results.
